US MQSA-Qualified Breast Radiologist — On-site Software Usability Testing Project (BLE00369)
Project summary
We are recruiting US-based, ABR-certified, MQSA-qualified Breast Radiologists to participate in an onsite usability evaluation of an innovative AI-assisted breast imaging software in Saratoga, California.
This study is designed to evaluate the usability, efficiency, and overall user experience of the platform from the perspective of experienced breast imaging specialists. During a moderated onsite session, participants will review study materials, explore the software, complete representative workflow tasks, and provide expert feedback on navigation, functionality, and clinical relevance.
Your insights will directly contribute to refining the platform, optimizing the user interface, and advancing the development of AI solutions that support breast imaging workflows and enhance the clinician experience.
Project details
- Session Duration: Approximately 60 minutes per participant. Please allow additional travel time to the testing site.
- Timeline: Sessions will be scheduled based on participant availability and conducted through July 31, 2026.
- Testing Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, subject to participant availability.
- Location: 1821 Saratoga Avenue, Suite 280, Saratoga, CA 95070.
- Mode: Onsite, moderated usability testing conducted at the client testing facility in Saratoga, California.
- Workflow: Participants will complete informed consent, receive study instructions, participate in an onsite usability session using the Int-Linear software, provide feedback, and complete post-session questionnaires.
Session Activities
Pre-Session (10–15 minutes)
- Complete electronic informed consent.
- Review study instructions and session overview.
- Confirm required technology and audio/video connection.
Usability Testing Session (20–30 minutes)
- Access the Int-Linear software through a secure Remote Desktop environment.
- Observe a brief product introduction.
- Navigate the platform while completing representative usability tasks.
- The research team may record screen activity, audio, and participant feedback for usability analysis with participant consent.
Post-Session (20 minutes)
- Complete a structured usability questionnaire.
- Provide feedback on ease of use, workflow efficiency, clinical relevance, user interface design, overall experience, and recommendations for improvement.
Task Description
Participants will review breast imaging studies, navigate the software, evaluate lesion visualization, measurements, AI-generated outputs, and case summaries, complete predefined usability scenarios, and provide feedback on workflow integration and usability.
Responsibilities
- Review study materials before the scheduled session.
- Complete the electronic informed consent process.
- Attend the scheduled onsite usability session on time.
- Complete all assigned usability tasks and questionnaires.
- Provide candid, constructive, and clinically relevant feedback throughout the session.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding study materials, software functionality, and client information.
Requirements
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience interpreting mammography.
- MQSA-qualified, having met Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) mammography interpretation requirements for at least one (1) year prior to the study and continuing to meet those requirements.
- Meet ACR breast ultrasound interpretation requirements for at least one (1) year prior to the study and continue to meet those requirements.
- Currently practicing as a Breast Imaging Radiologist, routinely interpreting both mammography and breast ultrasound as part of clinical practice.
- Interpret a minimum of 1,000 screening mammography studies annually.
- Previous experience as a truthing expert, clinical reviewer, or usability tester is preferred.
- Be able to travel to Saratoga, California, during the study period.
