Open role
US Board-Certified Neuroradiologist with 10+ Years of Experience – NCCT Head Data Annotation Project (SHS00341)
Project summary
We are seeking U.S.-based, Board-Certified Neuroradiologists with extensive experience interpreting non-contrast head CT studies to contribute to a high-priority AI validation initiative focused on advanced neuroimaging evaluation.
This project supports the generation of expert-reviewed annotation data for standalone AI model performance validation and quality assessment activities. Participating physicians will independently review non-contrast head CT cases and complete structured annotation and image quality evaluation tasks within the RedBrick AI annotation platform.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your neuroradiology expertise to a cutting-edge, research-driven initiative supporting innovation in medical imaging and artificial intelligence.
Project details
- Eligibility: U.S.-based, board-certified neuroradiologists, with a minimum of 10 years post-residency experience.
- Workload: Approximately 300 scans.
- Final workload allocation will depend on operational scheduling, according to the annotators’ availability and pace.
- Estimated Reading Time: ~5 minutes per case.
- Estimated Time Commitment: ~35–40 hours within the project timeline.
Timeline:
- Kick-off: May 15th
-
Deliverables schedule:
- ~200 studies by June 10th
- ~100 studies by June 30th
Mode: Asynchronous, remote; work completed in the RedBrick AI annotation tool.
Task Scope:
Participants will review non-contrast head CT studies and complete structured annotation tasks, including:
- Image quality scoring/rating
-
Presence/absence tagging for:
- Pathologies (e.g., intracranial hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, herniation, midline shift, atrophy)
- Confounders
- Image quality indicators
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned case volumes within established timelines
- Maintain annotation consistency across all assigned studies
- Follow annotation protocols precisely
- Deliver high-quality image quality labels
