UAE GP - Health Auth Project UAE

Project Overview

We are seeking licensed clinicians to contribute to a research initiative focused on identifying authoritative health organizations in the UAE. This project follows globally recognized standards set by NAM, WHO, and AoMRC and aims to enhance health information accuracy and accessibility. The insights gathered will play a crucial role in improving health equity and ensuring users have access to high-quality, vetted health resources.

Position Details

• Role: Clinician (Health Authority Research)
• Location: Remote (UAE-based clinicians preferred)
• Duration: Short-term (Approximately 10 hours over 2 weeks)
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Identify UAE health organizations with government accreditation or oversight
• Document and categorize relevant institutions in a structured template (provided)
• Provide supporting evidence and rationale for inclusion
• Ensure minority health sources are appropriately represented
• Maintain accuracy and completeness in documentation

Who We Are Looking For

• Valid UAE medical license
• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, DO, or equivalent)
• Completion of accredited postgraduate clinical training (Residency in the USA or Core Training in the UK)
• Board certification (or equivalent) in one or more of the following specialties:
• • Internal Medicine
  • Family Medicine
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Pediatrics
  • Surgery
  • Psychiatry
  • Public Health
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Fluency in English and at least one official language of the UAE (including medical terminology)
• Strong knowledge of the UAE healthcare system, policies, and key health organizations
