Project Summary
Medcase’s client is seeking U.S. Board-Certified Primary Care Physicians to support an annotation project focused on evaluating patient-provider online conversations. Physicians will apply their clinical expertise to assess both the realism of simulated patient interactions and the accuracy of software responses, using rubrics provided by the client.
Project Details
- Role: Annotation of simulated patient-provider conversations
- Commitment: ~3 hours per week for 1–3 months
- Flexibility: Majority of tasks can be completed asynchronously at the clinician’s convenience
- Duration: Dependent on client needs (workload may vary week to week)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and annotate simulated patient interactions (vignettes) based on client-defined rubrics
- Assess the realism and clinical appropriateness of provider responses
- Evaluate and annotate software-generated responses to patients using client-defined rubrics
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines
Requirements
- United States Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician who is actively practicing.
- Must have experience meeting with and assessing real patients via online chat conversation.
- Must have at least 8 years of experience as a practicing physician in the United States.
Compensation
Provider will be compensated a competitive hourly rate for their valued time and insight.
