Project Summary
We are seeking licensed dentists for a remote, short-term project to support the development of AI tools in dental imaging. This project involves the precise annotation of intraoral x-rays, with a focus on both tooth segmentation and caries detection. This is an ideal opportunity for licensed dentists to apply their expertise in a flexible, asynchronous role with competitive pay and the potential for ongoing work.
Project Details
Workload: The total workload for the team is 11,000 intraoral x-rays (10,000 for caries annotation and 1,000 for segmentation). The work is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Estimated Time: The estimated time is approximately 10 minutes per image for tooth segmentation and 6 minutes per image for caries annotation.
Timeline: The project is scheduled to begin around August 27th.
Format: This is a fully remote, asynchronous opportunity.
Compensation: Competitive pay is offered.
Responsibilities
- Review and annotate a set of intraoral x-rays.
- For a subset of cases, segment and annotate the anatomy of teeth, including apical lesions.
- For the majority of cases, annotate the presence and location of caries.
- Selected clinicians may be asked to serve as Reviewers to perform quality assurance on annotations and provide feedback.
- Adhere to all provided annotation guidelines and project protocols.
Requirements
Must be a Licensed Dentist.
Experience with intraoral x-rays is required.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of precision in annotation.
Ability to work independently and adhere to project deadlines.
Willingness to learn and use new annotation tools.
