Europe and LATAM Radiation Oncologist with 10+ Years of Experience – Head & Neck AI Contouring Project (SHS)
Project summary
We are recruiting Radiation Oncologists based in Europe and LATAM with 10+ years of clinical experience and extensive expertise in Head & Neck contouring to participate in a paid AI annotation project supporting the development of next-generation radiation therapy planning technologies.
This project offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and validation of advanced AI solutions for radiation oncology by creating high-quality clinical reference contours for Head & Neck anatomy.
Participants will independently delineate anatomical structures according to internationally recognized contouring guidelines. These expert annotations will serve as the reference standard for AI model training and validation, helping improve future radiation treatment planning workflows.
Project details
- Format: 100% Remote.
- Estimated Project Kick-off: August 2026.
- Estimated Project Completion: December 2026.
- Estimated Time Commitment: Approximately 1.5 hours per case.
- Participation is flexible and scheduled according to project timelines and clinician availability.
Responsibilities
- Delineate Head & Neck anatomical structures following standardized clinical contouring guidelines.
- Produce high-quality reference contours to support AI development and validation.
- Work independently within a structured annotation workflow.
- Follow project-specific quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced radiation oncologists contributing to the same clinical reference dataset.
Requirements
- Radiation Oncologist currently practicing in Europe or LATAM.
- 10+ years of clinical experience.
- Extensive experience in Head & Neck contouring.
- Strong familiarity with internationally recognized contouring guidelines, including Gregoire et al., Brouwer et al., and RTOG.
- Ability to work independently while following standardized annotation protocols and quality requirements.
