Project summary
We are recruiting an experienced US-based, Board-Certified Neuroradiologist or Neurovascular/Neurointerventional Radiologist to serve as the clinical adjudicator for an advanced AI annotation project focused on intracranial aneurysm localization and labeling on head CTA studies.
In this key role, you will resolve complex disagreement cases and help establish the final ground-truth dataset that will support the development, validation, and benchmarking of next-generation AI and machine learning systems for intracranial aneurysm detection. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the clinical accuracy and quality of this innovative initiative.

Workload
- Approximately 210 adjudication studies, assuming 35% of the 600 annotated cases require adjudication.
- Actual case volume may vary depending on the overall disagreement rate.
Estimated Time per Case
- Approximately 15–30 minutes per disagreement case, depending on the complexity of disputed findings.
Estimated Total Commitment
- Approximately 78 hours throughout the project timeline.
Timeline
- Onboarding and training: Expected around July 22, following clinician selection.
- Test case phase: Approximately 3–5 studies completed within 2–3 days after training.
- Pilot phase: Approximately 20 cases to validate workflow, tool configuration, instructions, and adjudication logic.
- Production phase: Adjudication conducted in parallel as disagreement cases are generated.
- Project completion is expected by the end of September.

- Fully remote and asynchronous.

Task Description
Participants will review disagreement cases involving head CTA studies and supporting imaging where available, including NCCT and rotating vessel VRT DICOM sequences, and will:
- Review cases that fail agreement for localization or labeling.
- Evaluate disputed aneurysm locations, aneurysm subtype, rupture status, and positive-versus-false-positive determinations.
- Resolve conflicting annotations using the project protocol and available imaging.
- Establish the final clinical ground truth for disagreement cases.
Responsibilities
- Review disagreement cases that fail localization or labeling agreement.
- Evaluate disputed aneurysm locations, aneurysm subtype, rupture status, and positive-versus-false-positive determinations.
- Resolve conflicting annotations according to the project protocol and available imaging.
- Establish the final ground-truth localization and labeling for adjudicated cases.
- Complete assigned adjudication cases within the agreed project timeline.
- Apply the annotation protocol consistently and provide high-quality clinical decision-making.
- Support quality assurance by completing requested clarifications or repeat reviews when necessary.
Requirements
- US-based Neuroradiologist or Neurovascular/Neurointerventional Radiologist.
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified.
- Fellowship training in Neuroradiology or Neurovascular/Neurointerventional Radiology.
- Minimum 10+ years of post-residency radiology experience.
- Extensive experience interpreting head CTA studies and diagnosing intracranial aneurysms and aneurysm mimics.
- Strong familiarity with intracranial aneurysm detection, aneurysm morphology, rupture-related findings, and common imaging mimics.
- Ability to work independently within a structured, protocol-driven annotation environment.
