Project Summary
The Health Information Quality team within Google aims to improve the quality of health information across all of Google’s platforms. The team sits horizontally within Google, supporting and advising multiple product areas and cross functional teams.
Project Details
- Based in the UK (London).
- Relatively recent clinical practice with up-to-date medical knowledge.
- Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).
- Completion of membership exams for an AoMRC accredited College in one of the following specialities: Public Health, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- >2 years clinical experience working in the UK.
- Fluency in English AND Spanish, Portuguese or Hindi (both English and 2nd language must include fluency in medical terminology).
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of the UK’s health and social care system.
- Familiarity with the UK healthcare guidelines.
- Understanding of cultural and geographical sensitivities related to health and wellness .
- Experience and knowledge of Google products eg YouTube, Search, Gemini.
Responsibilities
- Reporting of updated medical consensus and evidence for range of general health and wellness areas.
- Review of health-related content and information for accuracy, comprehensiveness, potential for harm .
- Producing literature reviews and reports related to health, wellness, policy, regulation and health-related products.
- Reporting of local knowledge and expertise around healthcare organizations and authorities in (see countries below) and your country of residence.
- Use of medical knowledge, translation, and interpretation in Spanish, Portuguese, or Hindi.

- Working knowledge of health and social care system in other priority geographical areas: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom, United States.
- Familiarity with healthcare guidelines in other priority geographical areas: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom, United States.
- Experience working in healthcare policy .
- Experience working in management consulting.
- Experience developing research, applying statistical methods, and designing analytic approaches that demonstrate clinically-relevant impact and outcomes.
- Experience identifying unmet clinical, healthcare, or public health needs.
- Experience contributing to the development of novel approaches to address unmet needs and identifying links to scalable products and solutions.
- Experience planning and conducting peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience working with clinical and non-clinical teams in private corporations.
- Experience in medical innovation, working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of the principles, potential, and limitations of Generative AI (GenAI).
- Familiarity with academic and industry advancements related to digital health technologies.
