In this project, you will contribute your clinical expertise to the review of medical queries originally written in Amharic and translated into English. Your role will be to ensure that the clinical meaning, nuance, and intent of each query are accurately preserved in the translation, supporting high-quality medical communication across languages.

Project details

The expected workload is approximately 5 to 10 hours, completed asynchronously. Timing may vary slightly depending on project needs, offering flexibility to fit around your current clinical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Review medical queries translated from Amharic into English.
  • Assess the clinical accuracy, clarity, and completeness of each translation using provided guidelines.
  • Identify and flag any discrepancies, ambiguities, or potential clinical risks related to translation quality.

Requirements

  • Actively practicing General Practitioner.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Amharic.
