Project Summary
We are seeking culturally diverse, detail-oriented Dietitians to join an innovative project focused on estimating caloric content from food images. This role is ideal for professionals with deep knowledge of regional cuisines and nutritional science who can visually assess meals and infer ingredients based on cultural context.
Our goal is to build a robust, cuisine-aware calorie estimation system. That means we need dietitians from varied geographic and cultural backgrounds who can recognize dishes from their region and accurately estimate their nutritional content based on visual cues.
Responsibilities
- Review images of meals and estimate the caloric content of each item.
- Identify likely ingredients based on visual appearance and cultural context.
- Provide brief notes or rationale for calorie estimates.
- Collaborate with a global team to ensure diverse cuisine coverage.

Time Commitment
- 5–10 hours per week, depending on your availability.

Requirements
Curently practicing in the US.
Fluent in a second language or have lived and worked in the mentioned country (preferably Spanish-Mexico)
At least 5 year of experience.
