Project Summary
We are recruiting a select group of clinicians across the United States, Europe, and Asia to contribute to the Biological Burnout Interview Project.
Through a single, structured expert interview, you will help a healthcare client deepen their understanding of how severe stress, trauma, and overload disrupt biological recovery pathways – especially those related to inflammation, healing, and skin regeneration.
The project focuses on real-world, clinical insight into:
- Stress-driven physiological dysregulation
- Trauma-linked recovery challenges
- Skin repair slowdown
- Mind–body–skin interaction patterns
Project Details
We are seeking actively practicing, licensed clinicians with substantial exposure to patients experiencing:
- Stress-related dysregulation
- Trauma recovery challenges
- Delayed wound healing or impaired skin repair
- Mind–body–skin interactions
Eligible specialties:
-
Dermatology / Dermato-Oncology
Clinicians with experience in stress-related skin disorders, inflammation cycles, slow healing, and barrier dysfunction. -
Burn Surgery / Trauma & Reconstructive Medicine
Surgeons and reconstructive physicians managing shock, trauma overload, and delayed wound repair. -
Psychiatry / Psychology
Clinicians working with trauma, chronic stress, somatic shutdown, and mind–body–skin connections. -
Rehabilitation Specialists
Physical therapists, occupational therapists, pain and recovery specialists managing autonomic dysregulation, physical burnout, and multisystem recovery. -
Integrative Medicine Physicians
Physicians involved in high-end recovery programs and familiar with what these programs can and cannot effectively treat.
Geographies:
- United States
- Europe
- Asia (India, Thailand, or Indonesia)
Duration: Approximately 1 hour, with the possibility of short follow-up questions if needed.
Scheduling: Fully flexible and aligned with your availability.
Responsibilities
As an expert participant, you will:
- Provide clinical commentary on stress-driven physiological dysregulation
- Clarify how trauma, chronic stress, and overload affect healing, repair, and recovery
- Describe patterns of skin repair slowdown, inflammation cycles, and autonomic imbalance
- Identify vulnerable patient groups and gaps in current care models
- Offer insight into what “true regeneration” should target from a clinical standpoint
- Share real-world observations grounded in day-to-day practice, rather than purely academic theory
Your input will directly address the client’s core research questions:
- What biologically “fails” under overload?
- Why does skin repair slow or collapse?
- Which patient groups are most vulnerable?
- Where do current care systems underperform?
- What should “true regeneration” actually target?
Requirements
To participate, you must:
-
Be an active, licensed clinician in one of the following areas:
- Dermatology / Dermato-Oncology
- Trauma / Burn Surgery / Reconstructive Medicine
- Psychiatry / Psychology
- Rehabilitation (PT, OT, pain, recovery)
- Integrative Medicine
-
Demonstrate clinical experience with patients presenting:
- Stress-related dysregulation
- Trauma recovery challenges
- Delayed wound healing or impaired skin repair
- Mind–body–skin interactions
